With the clocks going forward in the UK today, we’re officially in British Summer Time, meaning that we’re more than ready to embrace some summer vibes as of right now.
Boy In The Basement are a London based electronic dance music production collective, who have brought some sunshine into our lives with their debut track, ‘Piano Ceremonies’. The duo, made up of Marlon Gordon and Gilbert Lavonne, have teamed up with UK soul-pop singer Kelly Pepper for the song.
They recently released the music video for ‘Piano Ceremonies’, which adds a sense of fun and vibrancy to the track. The video begins with a girl working in a cafe, dealing with a demanding customer and a heavy workload, patiently waiting until clocking off time. In scenes reminiscent of Kiesza’s ‘Hideaway’ video, as she breaks free from work, she can be seen dancing through the streets until she comes across a group of young kids. They then join forces for a fun and slick routine along the streets.
Check out the video for ‘Piano Ceremonies’ below.
‘Piano Ceremonies’ has already received support from numerous outlets, including a share on Discobelle and inclusion on the VEVO DSCVR EDM Playlist.
We can expect a lot more from Boy In The Basement this year, so make sure to keep an eye on their Soundcloud.
‘Piano Ceremonies’ is available to stream and download now.
