Victoria Rowell is an American actress, writer, producer, and dancer. She has starred in the films The Distinguished Gentleman and Eve’s Bayou, on The Young and the Restless and Diagnosis: Murder.

Victoria was raised by several foster parents from an early age. Her biological father was Jamaican. Her biological mother, Dorothy Mabel (Collins), was white. She was born in Searsport, Waldo, Maine, and was mostly of English, and some Welsh, descent, including deep New England and Mayflower roots.

Victoria has a daughter with her former husband Tom Fahey; and a son with her former partner, musician Wynton Marsalis. Wynton is the brother of musician Branford Marsalis. A picture of Victoria with her daughter can be seen here.

Victoria’s biological maternal grandfather was Harry Stillman Collins (the son of Joseph H. Collins and Sarah Frances Pressey). Harry was born in Jamaica Plain, Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. Joseph was born in Castine, Hancock, Maine, the son of John Collins and Rosanna Coombs. Sarah was born in Brooksville, Hancock, Maine, the daughter of Elbridge Pressey and Nancy.

Victoria’s biological maternal grandmother was Mabel Tilden Bevan (the daughter of Charles A. Bevan and Elizabeth/Lizzie Margeret Sawyer). Mabel was born in Castine, Hancock, Maine. Charles was the son of John R. Bevan, who was Welsh, and of Mary E. Keeler. Elizabeth was the daughter of John Grindle Sawyer and Mary Louise Bowden.
