  • Her music group was discovered by music producer Jermaine Dupri while they were singing at his birthday party in Atlanta. He immediately signed them up to his So So Def Recordings.
  • On May 12, 1998, Xscape released its 3rd studio album titled Traces of My Lipstick via So So Def Recordings and Sony Music Entertainment. The album peaked at number #6 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums (Billboard) chart and at number #28 on the US Billboard 200 chart as well as was certified ‘Platinum’ by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
