Kris Jenner Is Freaking Out Over Article Exposing Kylies Money Lies & Fraud, Claims Insider

June 2024 · 2 minute read

Earlier this week, Forbes magazine published a scathing article about Kylie Jenner, claiming that she lied her way to billionaire status. The publication stripped Jenner of her world’s youngest self-made billionaire title – which they gave her in both 2019 and 2020 – and accused the Kylie Cosmetics founder of forging her tax returns and lying about her wealth to inflate her net worth.

Now, a new report claims that Kylie’s momager, Kris Jenner, is “freaking out” over the Forbes article because it could cause some serious damage to the Kardashian-Jenner brand that she has been building for nearly two decades.

“Kris and Kylie are freaking out and fear that this is going to hurt their brand, and even worse, they could be in trouble with the government,’ a source revealed to The Sun.

The insider added that both Kylie and Kris are “definitely worried” about both the legal and social ramifications of the article’s claims.

“Kylie’s business is significantly smaller, and less profitable, than the family has spent years leading the cosmetics industry and media outlets, including Forbes, to believe,” read the article.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star immediately responded to the article via Twitter. She wrote that she thought Forbes was a reputable site, but all she sees are inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions.

“I’ve never asked for any title or tried to lie my way there EVER. period,” wrote Kylie.

Her lawyer, Michael Kump, also demanded a retraction from Forbes in a statement. He said that after reviewing the article that accused Kylie of “engaging in deceit and a web of lies to inflate her net worth,” Jenner and her family want to make it clear that the article is “filled with outright lies.”

Kump added that Forbes’ accusation that Kylie and her financial team “forged tax returns” is “unequivocally false” and they demand that the money magazine retract the article and other statements.

However, Forbes is standing by their story. Company spokesman Matthew Hutchison says that the article was the result of an extensive investigation that was triggered by newly-filed documents that revealed glaring discrepancies between public information given to shareholders and private info supplied to journalists.

“Our reporters spotted the inaccuracies and spent months uncovering the facts,” said Hutchison.

After going over Kylie Jenners’ financial records, Forbes now claims that the 22-year-old’s estimated net worth is just under $900 million.
