Soto Pacheco is an outfielder for the Washington Nationals. He was born on October 25, 1998, in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic. His parents are Juan Soto, Sr. and Belkis Pacheco. His father played catcher in a local men's league and encouraged his son to pursue baseball as a hobby. La Fiera, as he is affectionately known, signed as an international free agent with the Washington Nationals in July 2015. This athlete made his professional debut in 2016 with the Gulf Coast League Nationals in the rookie-level Gulf Coast League. The Auburn Doubledays of the Class A-Short Season New York-Penn League, the Hagerstown Suns of Class A South Atlantic League, the Potomac Nationals of the Class A-Advanced Carolina League, and the Harrisburg Senators of the Class AA Eastern League have all used this player's services in the past.
