During an appearance on Conan, he revealed that he and his business partner chose the name Gettin’ Rad Productions because it’s a bad name.

Even their differences contributed to their chemistry. Naomi used the example of Scott being creative and enjoying things like acting and directing while she enjoyed things he didn’t, such as scheduling and crunching numbers.

Naomi joked that she considered working together because Scott was so busy that the only way to see him was to work together. She later explained how being friends in their relationship aided them in working together.

“In our marriage, we’re really good friends, which is like the lucky thing,” she said.

“If you’re going to work this many hours, you want to be surrounded by people who believe in you.”

After eight years together, Scott and his wife married in 2005. Since then, the couple has welcomed two children: son Graham Scott and daughter Frankie Scott.

During his appearances on shows, the actor has shared numerous stories about his children. He previously told Stephen Colbert that his children refused to watch any of his shows, even Parks and Recreation.

“They adore everything associated with it [Parks and Recreation].” “They’re big fans of The Office, The Good Place, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” he said.

“They love everything in its vicinity, but they won’t watch Parks and Recreation just because I’m on it.”

He told another story on Late Night with Seth Meyers about how surprised his kids were when he appeared in A Good Place. “They saw me on it and looked at me as if to say, ‘Woah! “What are you doing on this fantastic show?”

Aside from talking about them on TV, Scott frequently shares photos of his children on Instagram. He celebrated Mother’s Day in May 2021 by posting several photos of his family.

“I marvel at what an incredible mother she is—and the kind, smart, caring people our children have become as a result,” he captioned the photo.
