She’s the woman ousted by the men on the newest season of The Bachelorette. Britt Nilsson certainly was not expecting to end up going home the first night after 25 men made the decision to keep Kaitlyn around rather than her, and the world wasn’t really expecting it either. She’s a lot calmer, a lot more reserved and put together and she’s quite lovely but ultimately, the men decided they’d rather keep the competition around, and Britt was sent packing. Fortunately for her, one of the men in the house was simply there only for her, and he made it quite clear from day one that he wasn’t interested in the other woman on the show. When Nilsson was sent packing, he followed in a romantic gesture, and rumor has it that the couple is still dating after several months. Since we didn’t get to see Nilsson as the bachelorette, we didn’t get to learn nearly as much about her as we thought we might, so we thought we’d do a little digging for you so you could get to know her a bit better. She’s Afraid of Heights

Let’s be honest, most of us are afraid of heights. She Loves Christmas

Who doesn’t? It’s the best time of the year. It’s a time in which everyone seems to be in such a good mood, making happy decisions and being quite giving and nice and wonderful and the harmonious spirit in which everyone seems to be in is so impressive. She was the first woman to get a kiss from the man everyone was vying for, and she was also given the first impression rose. If that doesn’t speak highly of her ability to make a good first impression, nothing does.

She has the Same Fears as Everyone Else

We all have fears. And aside from being terrified of heights, Nilsson has another fear that is shared by many. She’s afraid that she will love someone and he will not love her back. It’s a common fear, and most people can agree that it’s one they all have. I know that so many men and women who don’t have love are afraid that when they do fall in love with someone, that their someone will not love them in return. It’s a perfectly valid fear, and it’s one that is difficult to let go of.

She’s Philanthropic

One of the things that Nilsson is very proud of is that she sponsors kids in need. It is one of the things she finds most important in life, and it’s something she’s been doing for a long time. She wants kids of her own at some point, so taking care of them now is something she feels only makes sense.

It’s true. When she moved into her apartment, she found a stain on her floor that looks exactly like Edgar Allan Poe, famous poet and author. She is convinced that he must haunt her apartment. However, she’s not afraid of him. In fact, she’s quite welcoming of her famous ghost. In fact, it might even seem kind of cool that she has a famous ghost living in a stain on her floor. I mean, how many of us can actually say that?

She’s Faithful

If there is one thing that Nilsson has been very open about since day one, it’s her faith. She is a Christian woman not afraid of her values and her feelings, and her faith is so very important to her. She is an avid church-goer, and she feels that people who are offended by her faith are not all that important. We have to say that it’s quite refreshing to see a public figure and a woman who is not afraid to show and speak of her faith. It’s a trait that many people should learn to practice, and we love that about the former bachelorette.
